Bloom began working as a production assistant, and then as a personal assistant to a number of A-list celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio. It was while working for DiCaprio that she was first introduced to the world of high-stakes poker. She began playing in small games, and quickly developed a reputation as a skilled player.
