Carla Harris is a Vice-Chairman, Managing Director, and a Senior Customer Advisor at Morgan Stanley, where she works. She most recently worked as a Vice Chairman, which meant that she was in charge of making sure that clients were more connected and that the firm was making more money.

She used to be in charge of the Emerging Manager Platform, which was the equity markets effort for the consumer and retail industries. In her 30 years of work, Ms. Harris has had a lot of experience in the technology, media, retail, telecommunications, transportation, industrial, and healthcare industries. The National Women’s Business Council was set up by President Obama in August 2013. Carla Harris was chosen to lead the group.

The equity syndicate desk at Goldman Sachs has been run by Harris for more than a decade. She was a senior member of that desk, and she worked on a lot of big deals, like the initial public offerings for UPS and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, as well as the IPOs for Ariba, Redback, and Delphi Automotive.

When Fortune Magazine looked at the 50 most powerful black executives in the US, it named her one of its most influential people. She was also named to Fortune’s Most Powerful List, the U.S. Bankers Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance (2009, 2010, 2011), Black Enterprise’s Top 75 Most Powerful Women in Business, and “Top 75 African Americans on Wall Street.”

Previously, Carla earned an MBA, Second Year Honors, from Harvard Business School. She also earned an AB in economics from Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude. As a result, Carla has also been given Honorary Doctorates of Laws, Humanities, and Business from Marymount Manhattan and other colleges and universities. These honors were given to her by Marymount Manhattan and other colleges and universities. She is very active in her community and believes that “we are blessed so that we can be a privilege to someone else.”

She has been on the boards of the Morgan Stanley Foundation, the Executive Leadership Council, and the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity. She also participates in the St. Charles Gospelites of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Mark Howell Singers, and the St. Charles Gospelites of the St. Charles Gospelites of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

As a member of the Harvard University board, she also serves on the boards of directors for Walmart and Cummins Corporation. She also serves on the boards of directors for both companies. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.: Ms. Harris was a member of the Delta Sigma Theta National Social Action Commission. When she was a child, she was named to the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

She also received the Bert King Award from Harvard Business School’s black alumni group, the 2005 Women’s Professional Achievement Award from Harvard, the Pierre Toussaint Medallion from the Office of Many accolades, including the National Urban League’s Women of Power Award, the Archbishop of New York’s Black Ministry Award, and many others.

Carla is also a singer who has sold out shows at the Apollo Theater and released her third gospel album “Unceasing Praise” in 2011. BET Nightly News recently featured her second single, “Joy Is Waiting,” in an article. Her first album, “Carla’s First Christmas,” was a best-seller on Amazon.com in New York and record shops, and it also starred on the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather in his “American Dream” segment. She has played five sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall, and each one was a big hit.

There are more books by Carla, too. She has written Strategize to Win (2014) and Expect to Win (2009) (Hudson Press), as well as a new book coming out soon called, “Lead To Win” (2022).
