While at Enron, he also founded the Joint Energy Development Investment Limited Partnership (JEDI) which sought to expand business development through partnerships with non-profits and investors. After leaving Enron in 2001, Andrew continued to make a name for himself in the finance world.
Andrew Fastow was a key financial figure in the Bayou Group, a hedge fund based in Houston, Texas. A graduate of Tufts University, Fastow joined the firm in 1998 and quickly rose through the ranks. He was known for his innovative financial strategies and his ability to develop complex financing structures and manage large numbers of deals.
Fastow helped Bayou Group to become one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the US.
