Bonin Bough is an award-winning marketing expert and the author of Txt Me, In addition to hosting The Cleveland Hustles and writing Txt Me. Bonin Ventures — a growth acceleration that helps businesses of all sizes achieve revenue growth quicker than they ever thought possible – was founded by one of the youngest-c-suite executives of a Fortune 50 company, Mondelez, and PepsiCo.

Some of the major worldwide marketing initiatives Bonin has overseen include the launch of the first-ever 3D printed food product at SXSW: the personalized, real-time, 3D printed Oreo.

Mondelez (formerly Kraft Foods) hired him to be their Chief Media and eCommerce Officer (CMO), where he developed some of the company’s first marketing campaigns on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. He also worked with companies like Paramount, ABC, NBC, and Fox, as well as startups such as Instagram, Foursquare, and Buzzfeed. Bonin was the worldwide head of digital marketing for PepsiCo, Weber Shandwick, and Ruder Finn Interactive before joining Mondelez International.

At Mondelez International, Bonin oversaw a media budget of over $3 billion, making him the seventh-largest advertising buyer in the world during his stint as Chief Media Officer. During his tenure, he was able to increase digital spending from 3 percent to over 32 percent, resulting in an increase in top-line net income of $2 billion and a decrease in bottom-line costs of $300 million.

It is thanks to him that brands like Sour Patch Kids have become the most popular candy in the world. He boosted internet sales from $65 million to $265 million in the 18 months he headed eCommerce. For PepsiCo, he was the global digital leader, and for IPG, he built two world digital agents before that.
