Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Lori always had an interest in business and a natural talent for creating and selling products. After earning a degree in Communication from Loyola University, she began her career as a writer and producer for various television shows and specials.

In 1996, Lori invented the “Jewelry Organizer,” a clear plastic organizer for storing and displaying earrings and other small items.
