Inder Sidhu is a highly-sought keynote speaker and expert covering such topics as technology, disruption, innovation, leadership, and strategy. He is a best-selling author, consultant, media pundit, and thought-leader who has spoken at many conferences around the world where he gives leaders the skills they need to deal with fast, big changes in society, the workplace, and schools.

Inder Sidhu is hired to speak at events and conferences where he can give his expertise on important global business affairs. He is a senior leader in Silicon Valley and has worked in the IT field for 30 years. In his most recent job as Senior Vice President of Planning and Strategy for Worldwide Operations, he has worked for the past 20 years to increase Cisco’s revenue from $1 billion to $50 billion.

He has been co-president of Cisco’s $16 billion Enterprise business, which is focused on digital services, its rapidly growing Emerging Countries division, and its Worldwide Professional Services business, which is focused on digital services.

Inder is also the author of two New York Times best-sellers: Doing Both: Capturing Today’s Profit and Driving Tomorrow’s Growth and The Digital Revolution: How Connected Digital Innovations are Changing Your Industry, Company, and Career (Pearson, 2016). (2010), from FT Press

Inder teaches at Harvard University, Stanford University, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of California, Berkeley. This lets him follow his passion for education.

Inder is a member of the Graduate Executive Board at the Wharton School and vice chairman of the board of Goodwill of Silicon Valley. He was the graduation speaker at Wharton School in 2013 and is a great keynote speaker.

Inder has been a consultant at McKinsey & Company, an engineer at Intel, and the founder of a popular Silicon Valley startup throughout his career.He is also on the Operating Committee of the group.

From 2006 to 2010, Sidhu was a co-leader of Cisco’s Emerging Countries Council. This group helps businesses do well in places like China, India, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, and the Middle East, which are growing quickly. From 2006 to 2009, he was a co-leader of the Enterprise Business Council, which is in charge of Cisco’s corporate business and makes up about half of the company’s total revenue.

His book, Doing Both: Capturing Today’s Profit and Driving Tomorrow’s Growth was written by Sidhu in 2010. In this New York Times best-seller, he looks at how successful businesses can get better results by “doing both” instead of making the usual business trade-offs. He gives a unique look at Cisco’s historical memory of innovation achievement by using this method.

Since he started working for Cisco in 1995, Sidhu has been in charge of Sales, Services, and Business Development. He was the vice president of the company and oversaw the customer advocacy, advanced engineering services, and international professional services departments.

Sidhu used to work for Mckinsey and Company, a management consulting firm with offices worldwide. Besides that, he has worked for Novell and Intel.

Sidhu has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He also has a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India.

Sidhu shows how much he cares about education by giving guest lectures at Stanford University, Harvard Business School, and the School of Business at the University of California-Haas Berkeley. He is also on the Charity of Silicon Valley Board of Directors.
