Dr. Astro Teller is an entrepreneur, scientist, and author who specialises in the subject of intelligent technology. He has a Ph.D. in computer science and has been published as an author. As “Captain of Moonshots” (CEO), he leads Google X, which is dedicated to developing magical, bold ideas that can be brought to fruition through science and technology.
Cerebellum Capital was founded by Astro in 2007 and he served as its initial CEO until 2010. Dr. Teller served as the founder and CEO of BodyMedia, Inc. from 1999 to 2007. Livio Technologies, an intellectual rights-holding company, was founded by Astro in 2003, and he served as its Chairman from 2003 until 2010.
Dr. Teller was the co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Sandbox Advanced Development, a technology business that specialized in advanced development. Before that, he worked as a consultant. Teller taught at Stanford University and worked as an engineer and researcher for several companies including Phoenix Laser Technologies, Stanford’s Center for Integrated Systems, and The Carnegie Group Incorporated before his current position in business management.
Teller is a well-known scientist and seasoned entrepreneur who has built and grown five successful businesses. He is married with two children.

The director of Alphabet’s X laboratory (also known as “Google’s Secret Lab”), Teller possesses several US and foreign rights and has been at the helm of the company since 2010.
