Ashton Kutcher was born on February 7th, 1978, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to a working-class mother and a working-class father. Diane (née Finnegan), a Procter & Gamble employee, and Larry M. Kutcher, a manufacturing worker, are the parents of three children. Kutcher’s background is a mix of German and Irish. As a result of his upbringing as a devout Catholic, Kutcher practices his faith openly. Michael, his fraternal twin brother, and Tausha, his sister, complete his family. After his freshman year at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, he relocated with his family to Homestead, Iowa, where he attended Clear Creek Amana High School for the remainder of his high school career. Acting became his love in high school, and he participated in school plays. It was not a secure family life for him, since his parents split at the age of 16. Later, Kutcher left school and relocated to Los Angeles, where he began working as a film and television actor.
In the 1999 romantic comedy Coming Soon, Kutcher played a biochemical engineering student. When Kutcher’s character realizes that his girlfriend is pregnant, his life is upended.
